Most of us can hardly remember a time before there were cell phones and wireless technology. We’re accustomed to working with laptops, iPads and smart phones tethered to our person at all times. They’ve become de rigueur for our on-the-go lifestyles, enabling connection with friends, communication with colleagues and the completion of tasks more efficiently.
Consequently, invisible electro-magnetic fields (EMFs) are all around us, generated by everything from cell phones, laptops, microwave ovens, hair dyers and airport security body scanners, to MRIs, CAT scans, power lines, cell towers and the wireless networks we use in our homes and offices every day.
1/ Understand the Dangers of Electromagnetic Sensitivity
But what if wireless and microwave signals are gradually making us sick? What if wireless frequencies are creating chaotic signals that can be absorbed by the tissues and organs of our bodies, the effects of which are accumulative over time—similar to smoking cigarettes—causing tissue damage and cancers?
Most of us have an inkling that the radiation we receive from X-rays, MRIs, CAT Scans, air travel and airport security body scans isn’t good for us. Technicians working with these technologies are required to wear special badges to monitor radiation exposure levels. But what about GPS, electric cars and E-Z Pass, or the food we buy in grocery stores (which is scanned) or the body scans when we walk through the doors of most retail shopping establishments, banks and drug stores.
The convenience and usefulness of wireless technologies, devices, and diagnostic instruments are beyond dispute, but the effects of EMFs on our health should not be overlooked. It’s hard for us to conceive that wireless technologies could pose a serious public health risk in the near future. But it could happen if we fail to protect ourselves from the onslaught of invisible EMF frequencies, such as microwaves. We can’t see microwaves, but we know they work—they cook our food and warm our lukewarm cups of coffee. What’s more, cell phones emit microwaves, and the idea that power-frequency magnetic fields can promote brain tumors was substantiated by a July 2014 study—the largest epidemiological study of its kind ever undertaken—published in the the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention. (1)
EMFs generated from cell phones are of particular concern, left on night stands only inches away from the heads of sleeping teenagers who use them to study, watch movies and set an alarm to wake up in the morning. Adults feel equally lost when cell phones aren’t tethered to their person. They check email and social media before getting out of bed in the morning; and they close each day perusing various news blogs and social media sites before going to sleep at night. What’s more, cell phones and tablets are comfortably propped on abdomens and torsos, with no thought given to the harm EMFs might do to the functioning of a woman’s uterus or ovaries or a man’s sperm count.
I’ve seen a maked increase in the number of patients visiting my office with symptoms related to EMF exposure—head aches, bags under the eyes, muscle weakness, chronic fatigue, general malaise, and flu-like symptoms. I’m seeing an increase in patients with thyroid imbalances that led to weight gain, and instances of infertility from women who read their tablets and smart phones in bed at night before going to sleep. I’ve seen an increase in the number of anxiety and depression cases, where EMFs affect the brain’s ability to produce its own neuro-transmitters, shutting down the patient’s brain metabolism. I’ve also seen a clear link between sleep deprivation/insomnia and EMF exposure.
I recall patients who visited me with weight issues: We addressed things holistically, as usual, examining a number of factors, such as dietary issues and proper digestion. We added an exercise regimen and applied “muscle testing,” or applied kinesiology, to test the organs involved. We tested for specific nutrient imbalances, applying homeopathic remedies or herbs to bring the organs back into balance. When their bodies were brought back to health and strength they had everything needed to balance their metabolisms; that is, until a cell phone was placed within three feet of their bodies. Then, the phone’s proximity, even when turned off, caused their thyroids to shut down and, invariably, weaken their metabolisms. But the thyroids tested strong again as soon as I provided my patients with protective EMF body shields to wear or place on their cell phones. The same thing happened with patients suffering from infertility. Coincidence?
I can think of a gentleman who crawled into my office because he worked next to two large mainframe computers. He turned his life around with EMF body shield protectors and a properly balanced nutritional regimen, which included Gamma Detox FX to help absorb the EMF radiation in his body and boost energy.
So why aren’t the health risks associated with cell phone usage adequately discussed?
Some see parallels to smoking and lung cancer. Cigarettes were recognized as the cause of lung cancer in the 1940s and 1950s, backed by a confluence of epidemiology, animal experiments, cellular pathology and chemical analytics studies. But cigarette manufacturers disputed this evidence as part of an orchestrated conspiracy to salvage cigarette sales. (2)
“It’s hard to talk about the dangers of cell-phone radiation without sounding like a conspiracy theorist,” writes Christopher Ketcham in GQ magazine. “This is especially true in the United States, where non-industry-funded studies are rare, where legislation protecting the wireless industry from legal challenges has long been in place, and where our lives have been so thoroughly integrated with wireless technology that to suggest it might be a problem—maybe, eventually, a very big public-health problem—is like saying our shoes might be killing us. Except our shoes don’t send microwaves directly into our brains. And cell phones do—a fact that has increasingly alarmed the rest of the world.” (3)
Ketcham documents several European studies related to the hazards of cell phone usage from 2004 to today: “…multiple reports, mostly out of Europe’s premier research institutions, of cell-phone and PDA use being linked to brain aging, brain damage, early-onset Alzheimer’s, senility, DNA damage, and even sperm die-offs (many men, after all, keep their cell phones in their pants pockets or attached at the hip). In September 2007, the European Union’s environmental watchdog, the European Environment Agency, warned that cell-phone technology could lead to a health crisis similar to those caused by asbestos, smoking, and lead in petrol,” he adds. (4)
As a practicing chiropractic and wellness physician, I feel compelled to echo these concerns because of the increase in the number of patients visiting my office with EMF-related symptoms and complaints—problems traceable to the strapping of cell phones to their bodies. Soft tissues like our eyes, thyroid and reproductive organs absorb EMFs more readily than other parts of our bodies. I’ve seen impressive results with infertile patients who were able to get pregnant after we implemented a detox nutritional regimen for their bodies, and found ways to limit their cell phone use and employ wearable EMF protection and body shields. EMFs affect brain metabolism and melatonin production; I’ve seen a number of patients overcome depression, anxiety and sleeplessness through nutritional detoxification and the use of wearable EMF protection and body shields.
2/ Get Help and Wearable EMF Body Protection
I’ve already touched on the value of nutritional detox strategies, and I’ve also tested several wearable EMF protection and body shield products on the market. Those that work well are formed with nano-crystalline technology and embedded and encoded with 230 resonating frequencies that transform chaotic and harmful EMF and wireless frequencies into frequency waves that are harmonious and beneficial to our bodies.
